PLEASE SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS HERE WITH

"HUNGRY 2020 | YOUR NAME” IN THE SUBJECT LINE,

BY FEBRUARY 17, 2020 extended deadline to EOD FEBRUARY 23, 2020!

*please note: this event is open to Asian/Asian Americans and age 21+

Hungry artists from previous year are allow to apply, but priority will be given to new artists.

STEP 1

+ Include a short bio of yourself. Explain how your artwork or performance relates to the theme—from scratch ?

Please include your full name and how you interpret from scratch.

STEP 2

+ Submit each artwork with title, dimensions and medium. 2D, 3D and performance media are accepted.

Artworks must fit and fill up the wall panels that are provided. Each artist has two wall panels, L 5’ x H 8’ each. *placement of panels are subject to change depending on the artworks and/ the flow of exhibition.

Stage is available for performing artists.

-Submit image files in JPG format and videos files in .mov or .mp4 format

Selected artists must be able to deliver their artworks to the venue and install their artworks by the arranged time and be able to uninstall the work after exhibition (March 20th, 2020). We are open to discussing format and installation needs further with artists as necessary.

STEP 3

+ Please read the Terms and Conditions. HAND Hospitality reserves the right to reject any applications at any time and for any reason at its discretion.

Artists will be selected by HAND Hospitality’s event coordinators based on artistic merit and exhibition space. Due to the selection process, works will be considered as they are submitted. It is advantageous to submit work early. The deadline may be moved if spots fill up.

Entry Deadline: February 17th, 2020—> February 23rd, 2020

Results for selected artists announced: February 18th, 2020- February 21th, 2020—> February 24th-February -February 28th, 2020

Event Date and Awarding Ceremony: March 15th, 2020Exhibition dates: March 15th, 2020 (opening) - March 20th, 2020

Event location + Durations: 22 W 32nd Street (12th floor), 1pm-8pm
